Week Two Blog Prompt
Describe either the best or the worst teacher you’ve ever had during your career as a student. What was it about that individual’s teaching style that you liked/disliked? Try to relate this back to your own individual method of learning and writing. Were you compatible? Incompatible? Was he/she more or less relatable because of age? Culture? The way the classroom was set up? Try to think of specific assignments, lectures, class activities, etc. that caused you to form the opinion you did.

My best teacher had to be my eleventh grade history teacher. His teaching style was involved, thorough, and fun. His teaching got me interested and into his class making me more willing to study and do well in the class. He was also very fair with making and grading his assignments. I hated when I upsetted him. He was older, probably in his sixties but since he had a son our age, compatiblity was never a problem. I remember before every test he always gave the first 10 mins to get mentally ready and prepared and broke the ice before with his humor with jokes like calling his tests testicles.
