My topic will be the benefits of immigration in the united states. I really am interested in some of the posotives of this because everyone thinks its terrible that we have people immigrating to the us. I will be using the many resources we have and the only problem might be finding a lot or sources on the topic.

I am doing this topic as well. I don't think finding resources will be a problem, its the separating of opinion from fact that will be the issue.
theres alot of info on the pros of illegal immigration. i had to debate that last year so its possible but just watch out for bias
Well it's good that you already have your own view. You're going to find many opinionated views that will try to persuade you.
i think this is a very researchable topic, maybe a little too broad, but easily narrowed. Good Luck! this is a current issue with the upcoming election, so it should be easy to get information, it may be very slanted info tho, so be careful with that. other that that, you got it!

I wrote a paper on this last semester and you can actually find a lot of research about it. The databases will really help you. This is also a pretty hot topic so I don't think you will have a problem. Looks like you narrowed it down enough to have a thesis.

If anything be prepared for alot of sources and infromation. Specifically target immigrants who have acheived the american dream.
Very controversial, definitely a challange. Hardest part you will have is avoiding bias.
This is a good topic because there are many different viewpoints. That could also be a problem- trying to find your view point and how it fits into your paper. You can see if immigration workers are really taking economic opportunity away from unemployed, American citizens.

This is a very refreshing topic. Usually you do hear the negative side. There is definitely a lot of evidence especially through the agriculture in this country.
I highly doubt that you'll have a problem finding resources on this topic, especially with the Presidential election coming up next month and this being a hot issue. Due to the highly opinionated articles you'll find though, you might change your thesis to the negative effects of illegal immigration. Watch out for that.

Resources with this won't be a problem, i'd focus it down a little more as be specific as to legal or illegal immigration.
