this seems interesting, but what kind of thesis could you propose for this paper?
I think you can definitely do research about Billie Holiday but what is your thesis? Is there anything in particular you want to find out? It also seems like a big topic. You might want to consider focusing on one particular aspect of Billie and that may help you with a thesis.
What about Billie Holiday specifically, like you could explain her influence on Jazz
Probably very good infromation on her. Not very narrow in your subject. I suggest finding an aspect. Making an argument. Such as Billie Holiday's most important aspect. Or if talking about Billie's life discuss what was important in the life in order to get where they are now.

There is definitely a lot of information about her. But make sure you create a specific argument, maybe how she is a really good artist, or how her music has influenced later generations.
There is a fan base behind her which is good. You can compare how her life was viewed back then and how her lifestyle would be viewed today. Good luck!
oh cool billie holiday.it sounds like youre going to have a good paper ahead of you but what kind of thesis are you gonna end up with?
Sounds interesting but you don't seem to present a thesis. You might want to narrow your topic down more so you'll have less information to sift through.

what about this person makes you want to write about them? If you figure that out you can go from there with it.
My suggestion is to focus on 1 or 2 hardships and saw how they shaped her into how she is today.
